Ella Biggins

Ella graduated from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, summa cum laude, in 2019. She received her Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2023. While in law school, Ella received three Book (CALI) awards and the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award. Ella was also a member of the Moot Court Team, through which she was selected to participate in the Final Four Competition, presenting oral argument before the Florida Supreme Court.

Prior to law school, Ella served as a Gubernatorial Fellow, Florida’s most prestigious program for future policy leaders, under both Governor Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. Upon completing her Fellowship, Ella was selected to serve in the Washington, DC office of Governor DeSantis, where she facilitated the Governor’s work with the White House, federal agencies, and Florida’s Congressional Delegation.

While in law school, Ella served as a judicial extern for United States District Judge T. Kent Wetherell, II and as a law clerk in the Governor’s Office of the General Counsel. Ella was also a Certified Legal Intern in the Office of the State Attorney (Florida’s 12^thJudicial Circuit), where she managed a caseload and secured a guilty verdict at trial prior to receiving her law degree. Ella also served as a Summer Associate for a civil defense firm in Florida.

When not practicing law, you can find Ella spending time outdoors with her fiancé and golden retriever or practicing yoga.
